Telephone Scam Alert
The latest telephone scam involves individuals claiming to be a "Checking Account Supervisor" and offering "free" services. The callers are trying to obtain routing and account number information. It appears these calls are originating from a telemarketing company based out of Florida.
The same as when you are contacted by any company soliciting services via the telephone, Corning Credit Union recommends exercising caution. Ask questions to fully understand all aspects of the offer being made or simply hang up.
