Safe Deposit Boxes
Safe Deposit Boxes are available at the Main Office and at the Wilmington Branch Office - providing you with secure protection for your valuables and important papers.
- Any member over 18 years of age may open and maintain a safe deposit box
- For your protection, only authorized persons are granted access to the box, and positive identification is required
- CCU does not carry insurance for contents of boxes, but the renter may carry their own personal insurance
- You may have a joint renter of the box - that person must be in our field of membership
- By State regulation, the safe deposit box is sealed upon death of the renter(s)
- You may assign a Deputy to your box - that person does not have to be in our field of membership
Sizes and Annual Fees
Main Office:
- 3" x 5" x 24" - $20.00 plus tax
- 5" x 5" x 24" - $30.00 plus tax
- 3" x 10" x 24" - $40.00 plus tax
Wilmington:
- 5" x 5" x 24" - $30.00
- 3" x 10" x 24" - $40.00
Payment of the pro-rated annual fee is due at the time of sign-up. After the initial billing, the annual fee will be deducted from your Savings or Checking Account - you choose.
