Facilities and Maintenance Administrator

Location: Wilmington, NC

Corning Credit Union is continuing to expand its operations in the greater Wilmington, NC area and is seeking an experienced Facilities and Maintenance Administrator. The Facilities and Maintenance Administrator will be responsible for ensuring safe, sound and compliant facilities for our employees, members, and vendors. Individuals should have experience performing common light duty maintenance tasks.

Duties

  • Must ensure a safe, sound, and OSHA-compliant facility for the organization which includes scheduling regular maintenance, testing and working with vendors
  • Performs light duty facility maintenance tasks which may include: furniture moves, cleaning spills, painting, assembling, minor plumbing repair, and other smaller scale upkeep items as needed
  • Assists the Facilities Manager with oversight of all building systems (HVAC, fire, security, elevators, electric, generators, plumbing)

Skills Required

  • High level of initiative and flexibility including the ability to work nights and weekends when necessary
  • Able to multi-task and maintain organization when moving from one responsibility to another
  • Has a natural aptitude for mechanical technology and moderate construction and maintenance skills
  • Possesses solid computer skills and is experienced with various Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Able to work with varying personalities to keep workflow moving in a timely fashion
  • 1 – 3 years related experience required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Current/valid driver’s license

Quality Assurance Project Analyst

Location: Corning, NY or Wilmington, NC

CCU is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Project Analyst to join its Project Management Office (PMO). In this role you will be exposed to a wide variety of innovative technologies and interact with seasoned finance and IT professionals as part of a growing cross-functional team. This role will be responsible for supporting specific projects as well as establishing structure in the organization’s quality assurance practices, including automation. You will work with vendors, subject-matter-experts, and cross-functional resources across the organization to ensure successful completion of projects on-time, on-budget, within scope and within CCU’s high quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and analyzing system specifications.
  • Supporting project efforts as a business analyst.
  • Working with subject matter experts to create test plans.
  • Reporting and documenting technical issues.
  • Standardizing defect tracking processes and migrating test tracking to a single system.
  • Troubleshooting issues.
  • Conducting pre- and post-release testing of vendor systems.
  • Executing test cases (manual or automated) and analyzing results.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Attaining and maintaining expertise in all CCU primary applications.
  • Stays abreast of Credit Union products and services.
  • Occasionally managing projects, including providing status reports, risk assessments and schedule tracking.
  • Maintaining member confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Conducting and coordinating financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning.

Financial Services Representatives

Financial Service Representatives are responsible for meeting a wide-range of member needs through the seamless integration of Lending and Membership. This role requires strong sales, service, and relationship building skills as well as the flexibility to provide exceptional, “one-stop” service to our members to meet all of their financial needs.  

A Bachelor's degree in business or finance is preferred, commensurate work experience considered. Prior/recent experience in Membership and Consumer Lending with loan approval authority required.

    Consumer Loan Officer

    Responsibilities

    The Loan Officer is responsible for gathering applicant information, reviewing and analyzing credit histories and making sound lending decisions.  Other duties include providing exceptional service, support, and education to our members including recommending additional products and services to meet their financial needs.

      Network Administrator

      Corning Credit Union is seeking an experienced and motivated Network Administrator who will also provide assistance with cross-functional support of servers and applications.

      The successful candidate will gain exposure and provide support to CCU's data processing environment, which includes implementing tactical solutions, ongoing maintenance, strategic planning and compliance from regulators, corporate leadership, and financial industry requirements.

      Required Skills and Experience

      • In-depth understanding of network architecture and protocols with exposure to enterprise level platforms.
      • Hands-on experience with switch and router configuration, preferably Cisco.
      • Ability to manage, maintain and upgrade information technology systems such as VoIP platforms, layer 2 and layer 3 switches, routers, and wireless access components.
      • Ability to perform incident response analysis and root cause analysis through research and peer/vendor support.
      • Comfortable researching and analyzing system performance issues, new technology and technical, tactical, and strategic solutions.
