Manager, Project Management Office (PMO)

Location: Corning, NY

CCU is seeking a Manager to lead its Project Management Office (PMO). As a member of Corning Credit Union’s Project Management Office and IT Management Team, you will be exposed to a wide-variety of cutting edge technologies and interact with seasoned IT professionals in a tightly integrated and cross-functional team.

Essential Duties
As the PMO Manager you are responsible for leading CCU’s team of project managers and project analysts to successfully complete corporate projects that support Corning Credit Union’s business objectives. The manager will help shape and grow the PMO and will be responsible for ownership of the corporate project process methodology. You will work with project teams across the organization and will use technology and keen problem solving skills to help implement CCU’s corporate vision. In addition to daily leadership within the department, the manager will also be responsible for his/her own projects and for reporting overall project progress to senior management.

Qualifications & Education

  • Possesses a high-level of integrity, positivity and dedication
  • Works well in a team-orientated and collaborative environment and is capable of effectively collaborating with other areas of management outside of IT
  • Excellent people, organization, communication, and coordination skills
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Must have a working knowledge of Project Management methodologies
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and successfully lead a team through change
  • Self-directed with the ability to work effectively on both group and individual projects
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or other related field is desired. Commensurate work experience will also be considered
  • A minimum of 3 years of staff supervision in an IT or Project Management function is required
  • A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience is required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

Member Service Representatives

Location: Wilmington/Leland, NC Area

North Carolina Member Service Representatives (Tellers) Wanted!

Corning Credit Union is continuing to expand its operations in the greater Wilmington/Leland, NC area and is seeking Member Service Representatives.

Member Service Representatives are responsible for providing excellent prompt, professional customer service for members in person, via phone, and through the mail, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, money orders, and cash advances.

Representatives balance each day's transactions, verify cash totals, answer members’ questions regarding products and services and actively educate and cross-sell products and services when appropriate. Representatives also perform a variety of account maintenance duties, side-jobs of various clerical functions and they assist other Member Service Representatives with duties as necessary.

Call Center Representative

Location: Corning, NY

Corning Credit Union is seeking Call Center Representatives to work in our Call Center.

Call Center Reps are responsible for a variety of member support functions including; answering account inquiries, providing member product and service education, opening accounts, adding services, and securing and maintaining member relationships.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and is able to connect and interact well with members via the telephone. A high level of professionalism, flexibility, initiative and the ability to exercise good judgment and problem solving skills are required.

Project Manager

Location: Corning, NY

CCU is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing Project Management Office (PMO). In this role you will be exposed to a wide-variety of cutting edge technologies and interact with seasoned IT professionals in a tightly integrated and cross-functional team.

Essential Duties:

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for working with cross-functional teams to successfully scope, plan, execute, and close corporate projects that support Corning Credit Union’s business objectives. The Project Manager will take ownership of several projects at once, ensuring adequate project plans are in place and working with key management to secure the necessary resources to deliver high-quality projects on-time, on-budget, and in scope.
