Systems Administrator, Corning, NY or Wilmington, NC (Area)

Corning Credit Union is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our growing IT Operations Team.

As a Systems Administrator, you are responsible for the daily administration, operations, maintenance, and overall health of the enterprise systems and applications utilized by Corning Credit Union. The Systems Administrator ensures that the infrastructure meets immediate and future business needs, including business continuity and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field; commensurate work experience will be considered.
  • 3-5 years of Systems Administration experience preferred.
  • Strong Windows systems knowledge and experience.
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux administration.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies and experience supporting virtual environments.
  • Experience in documenting processes and procedures.
  • Excellent people, organization, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively on both group and individual projects.
  • Flexible with working hours which can occasionally change with short notice to cover unexpected business needs. Must be available to respond to system related issues on 24/7 basis.
  • Licensed driver with the ability to travel from location to location.
  • Frequent use of computer and telephone.

Consumer Loan Officer - Lending Call Center, Corning, NY

Corning Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Loan Officer for our Lending Call Center. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, customer service, and analytical skills. The Loan Officer is primarily responsible for satisfying our members' borrowing needs and providing exceptional service, support, education, and recommendations for additional products and services to meet their varied financial and convenience needs. Specific duties include; gathering applicant information, reviewing and analyzing credit histories, and making sound lending decisions.

Call Center Representative, Corning, NY

Corning Credit Union is seeking Customer Service Representatives to work in the Call Center.

Call Center Reps are responsible for a variety of member support functions including; answering account inquiries, providing member product and service education, opening accounts, adding services, and securing and maintaining member relationships.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and is able to connect and interact well with members via the telephone. A high level of professionalism, flexibility, initiative, and the ability to exercise good judgment and problem solving skills are required.

Project Manager, Corning, NY

CCU is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing Project Management Office (PMO). In this role you will be exposed to a wide-variety of cutting edge technologies and interact with seasoned IT professionals in a tightly integrated and cross-functional team.

Essential Duties:

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for working with cross-functional teams to successfully scope, plan, execute, and close corporate projects that support Corning Credit Union’s business objectives. The Project Manager will take ownership of several projects at once, ensuring adequate project plans are in place and working with key management to secure the necessary resources to deliver high-quality projects on-time, on-budget, and in scope.

Member Service Representatives (Tellers), Corning, NY

Full-time Member Service Representatives are responsible for providing excellent, prompt, and professional customer service for members in person, via phone, and through the mail, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, money orders, and cash advances.

Representatives balance each day's transactions, verify cash totals, answer members’ questions regarding products and services, and actively educate and cross-sell products and services when appropriate. Representatives also perform a variety of account maintenance duties, side-jobs of various clerical functions, and assist other Member Service Representatives with duties as necessary.

We are also seeking Part-time Member Service Representatives (Tellers) for our Main Office Branch. (Approximately 25 hours per week)

High School Diploma or GED and 1 - 3 years of Customer Service experience required.
