To begin the process of opening a business account, simply contact us. Business types other than a Single Member LLC or a Sole Proprietorship require an Employer Identification Number (EIN) to open an account. Single Member LLCs and Sole Proprietorships may use the owner's social security number. All owners/principals/authorized signers who will be on the account must fall into our field of membership.

Use the following chart to determine which additional documents you'll need to open your business account:

Sole Proprietorship
  • DBA (Doing Business As) Certificate. May also be called Fictitious Name, Business, or Assumed Name Certificate.
Limited Liability Company or Professional LLC
  • Articles of Organization (with amendments)
  • Operating Agreement
  • DBA (Doing Business As) Certificate if applicable
Unincorporated Association
  • Bylaws
  • Meeting Minutes
Limited Partnership/Limited Liability Partnership
  • Certificate of Limited Partnership
  • Partnership Agreement (may be verbal in New York)
Corporation
  • Articles or Certificate of Incorporation
  • Meeting Minutes
  • DBA (Doing Business As) Certificate if applicable
General Partnership
  • DBA (Doing Business As) Certificate. May also be called Fictitious Name, Business, or Assumed Name Certificate.
  • Partnership Agreement (may be verbal in New York)
